Elliot Greiner resents any reading of this story as strictly autobiographical. However, he has collected roadkill in five countries across three continents and once woke up in the middle of the night to maggots in his bed. Yesterday someone even sent him a picture of a skeletonized leg their friend found on a hike in Colorado. Is it human? He isn’t sure yet. But based on the metatarsal arrangement, it’s possible.
